Blackberry Midnight Mojito

This Midnight Mojito is made with fresh blackberries, mint leaves, and a little club soda for fizz. Keep it zero-proof for a refreshing sip, or add your favorite brand of rum!

  • Fine Mesh Sieve
  • 2 Glasses for serving

Ingredients
  

  • 2 - 3 ounces simple syrup
  • 1 count lime juiced
  • 70 grams blackberries (about 10)
  • 6 sprigs fresh mint
  • 2 - 3 ounces rum (optional)
  • ice for serving
  • 6.4 ounces club soda

Instructions

  • To a tall glass, add the simple syrup, lime juice, blackberries, and mint leaves.
  • Use a muddler to mash the fruit and herbs. This releases the flavor and aroma for our drink.
  • If making a cocktail, pour the rum into the shaker glass and stir.
  • Prepare two glasses with ice and club soda.
  • Using a fine mesh sieve, strain the blackberry-mint juice into both glasses.
  • Add extra berries, lime slices, and mint for garnish. Enjoy!
