Ingredients

  • 4 count salmon fillets
  • ½ tablespoon salt
  • ½ tablespoon no-salt Creole seasoning I love Tony Chacheres
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • cup Garlic Honey Soy Sauce see recipe link below

Instructions

  • Mix the listed seasonings together for a marinade.
  • Rub your seasonings and the sesame oil on the salmon fillets and let the fish marinate for about 20 minutes.
  • Heat a large skillet to medium heat. Spray some non-stick cooking spray onto the bottom of the skillet.
  • Place salmon fillets in the greased skillet, flesh down/skin up, and cook for about 5 minutes.
  • Remove the salmon and set on a clean plate.
  • In the same skillet, pour in your garlic honey soy sauce. After about 5 minutes, it will start to bubble and reduce.
  • Add your salmon back into the skillet, skin side down.
  • Finish cooking your salmon for another 6 minutes. Baste the fish with the sauce as it continues to get thicker and sticky.
  • Serve, drizzling any remaining sauce on the salmon and/or your veggies. Enjoy!
