Homemade Strawberry Rosé Popsicles are the best way to have your wine... and eat it too! Blend together your favorite brand of rosé, some fresh strawberries, and a bit of fruit juice... then freeze in popsicle molds, and voila. These are naturally sweetened and have the perfect balance of fruity & boozy flavors.

A tray of ice topped with homemade Strawberry Rose popsicles.

Say hello to Vol. 2 of my summer miniseries - Homemade Strawberry Rosé Popsicles! I'm going to post four homemade popsicle recipes (both boozy and non-alcoholic) to keep everyone cool and refreshed for the season.

This flavor profile has tons of fresh berries, a little bit of tang from cranberry juice, and a sweet wine base. Trust me, you're going to love these.

    Ingredients

A wooden board with containers of ingredients for a strawberry frose popsicle.
    • Sliced Strawberries - You can use fresh strawberries, or frozen ones if those are all you can get your hands on.
    • Cranberry Juice - I used 100% cranberry juice (no sugar added) for a smoother popsicle texture - and it helps get that beautiful deep red color. You can also use apple juice if you're not a fan of cranberry.
    • Honey - Honey provides a little extra sweetness without adding white sugar.
    • Lemon Juice - I'll let you in on a little trick. Lemon or lime juice, just a teaspoon, helps add some acidity plus reduces the "icy" texture you'd normally get with freezing fruit. It's a small addition that truly works overtime in making a beautifully-textured popsicle.

How to Make Strawberry Rosé Popsicles from Scratch

A blender cup filled with blended strawberries, cranberry juice, and honey.

Step 1: To begin, add your chopped strawberries, cranberry juice, honey, and lemon juice to a blender.

Blend until a smooth liquid is formed.

Step 2: Pour into a popsicle mold, then cover and add your wooden sticks.

    Freeze overnight, and enjoy!

    Recipe FAQs

How do you remove homemade popsicles from the popsicle mold?

To easily remove popsicles from their mold, simply run some warm water over the bottom of the molds for about a minute. Using silicone molds, you can also slightly peel the mold away from the edges. Pull the popsicles out, and you're good to go!

What's the texture of these treats? Are they similar to a frosé?

They have a similar flavor, but are definitely more "set" like a popsicle than soft and drinkable like frosé. The good thing is, after properly freezing, these will take longer to melt in the heat than a cup of frosé!

How do you store homemade strawberry rosé popsicles?

I just store any leftover homemade popsicles in a large freezer bag. The popsicle mold I linked to also includes popsicle bags, so you can individually wrap them if you want!

    Instructions

    • Add all of the ingredients into a blender and blend well.
2 cups sliced strawberries, 1 ½ cups Rosé wine, ½ cup cranberry juice, 2 tablespoons honey, 1 teaspoon lemon juice
    • Pour the mixture into a popsicle mold. Tap the mold to get out any air bubbles, then cover and add your popsicle sticks.
    • Freeze for at least 6 hours. I've found that overnight is best!
    • To remove the popsicles from their molds, run warm water over the bottom of the popsicle mold. Remove the popsicles and serve immediately.
    • Any excess popsicles can be wrapped in cellophane bags & added to a freezer-safe Ziploc bag. Enjoy!

I made these for my daughter’s spring bridal shower. They were easy, elegant, and absolutely delicious! We wrapped each one in a cellophane bag and decorated the stems with ribbon.
